Prevents printing any items when
--quietis used. One test is included.Resolved issues:

Call-outs:
The
if !quiet { ... }block prevents both formatting and printing. Thequietvalue could be passed down to aprint_itemfunction and just avoid printing in that case, but I just went for the simpler solution.Testing:
